L’dor va-dor-for thousands of years our people have passed on our heritage and the communal story of our people “from generation to generation.” Although the spoken word plays a large role in Judaism, it is the written word, the stories that are written down, and retold, that have ultimately ensured our survival. This course will encourage us to answer the question found at the center of the national hit Broadway show Hamilton, which asks the audience to consider: “Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?
